Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get - only with what you are expecting to give— which is everything. -KH

The only thing that matters is what they feel, and how much they feel, for each other. And if it’s half of what we felt— that’s everything. -ST

The last footage of Carole Lombard, January 15, 1942. Here seen in Indianapolis during her war bond tour. Carole’s last-minute decision to fly home instead of taking the train would take her life only 24 hours later.

Carole was very upset as she made her final preparations to leave. She handed their secretary, Jean Garceau, a series of notes she had written for Clark, with instructions to give him one for each day she was to be away. Just before she left the house, Carole hugged the secretary and said “Take care of my old man for me, will you, Jeanie? You know you’ll be working with him more and more now”.
